Mixed Media journal. Im trying to start a journal with different things that make up who I am so when I am long gone my family and friends will remember me and know what it was like growing up in this time. =)

My ultimate favorite blog right now has to be honestlywtf.com it was created by two girls Lauren and Erica. If you put these two girls together, their style, their unique eye, and their liking of beautiful yet weird finds you pretty much know all about me. They love more than fashion they love art.

Products that i have recently bought, most of them from Ulta.com and i will do a review on them, well most of them, like the nail hardener i still have not used.

Sally Hansen Hard as nails hardener retails at about $2.39 from ulta.com

sally hansen nail & cuticle oil, retails about the same. works great! my mom gave her self a massage with the oil, and then with those nail care sticks she removed her cuticles off very easily! the nail sticks were about .88 cents!

Essence Blush Brush, retails at about $1.50 from ulta.com its very soft, i love how it works just not the size of it! it was worth what i payed for! Brushes usually retail at about $5.00 or more!

CoverGirl Nature luxe! my color is 360. cost me $7.98, because i had a coupon that i received from my package from Ulta.com i have not used the foundation because i just bought it today. but i did try it on my hand and it was very smooth, but it kinda looked orange! which im scared that my face will turn out that way! but ive read other reviews and they say its wonderful, so im hoping it is!

Lipstick from Rimmel london retails at $2.39 from ulta.com the color i got is 006 in pink blush. its such a beautiful color, will go great with simple make up then adding the a vibrant lip color will pull the look together
I also got one from essence still from Ulta.com this was about $1.50 in the color 31 Glamour queen. the color is basically the same as the package! I LOVE it! i love colors that look sort of the same as your lips! these two lipsticks would cost at least $6.89 each at drug stores but from ulta.com i got them basically free! i was so excited!

I bought my sister these two Formula 10.0.6 Cleansers! the First one is SO totally clean deep pore cleanser. I have not used these, my sister has so when she gets home ill have her fill in the blank, aha i also bought her the Deep down detox ultra-cleansing mud mask! i got one fro 5.99 and the other for only 3.00! it was but one get one 50% off! what a great deal!
I bought these Neutrogena make up remover cleansing towelettes, at sames club for $13.43. I got 4 packets with 30 pre moistened wipes! They left my face so soft! and could feel how clean my face felt after all my make up was off! I love them! they were most definitely a good investment! XOXO - beba

Pairing a cute summer dress with a brown belt is very in now a days. and also the messy hair look is also in. Caldo de Pollo :)

1 medium cabbage, cut into wedges
1 1/2 lbs. chicken breast
water to cook chicken (just enough to cover the chicken)
4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 small chopped onion
1 zucchini, diced
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
11/2 cups white rice, cooked.

Cook chicken over med heat in a large Dutch oven until it is tender. Add water, as needed, to keep chicken covered.

When the chicken will come apart with a fork, add the carrots to the chicken.

Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes, then add the rest of the vegetables and the rice and simmer until the potatoes are tender.

So, this is my last week of school and I have finals and last minute homework to turn in. I probably shouldn't be posting this right now! anyways, all is well in the land of Marlenn too much work and not enough time to spend with my besties or my family. :( but work is all I can do right now before my big trip to Guatemala.

I have also been doing some shopping for my trip and I will probably post pictures later of what I bought.
